Sydney Catholic Schools appoints J&G

Sydney Catholic Schools has collaborated with business improvement firm, Johnston & Goldsmith to examine and develop its system wide approach to leading and supporting change in schools across the Sydney Archdiocese.

Following the launch of their new strategic plan, New Horizons, Inspiring Spirits & Minds, Dr Dan White, Executive Director of Sydney Catholic Schools said, “the need to successfully lead change across our large and complex system of schools is critical to the successful attainment of our Vision and Mission.”

 “We appointed Johnston & Goldsmith to assist us with our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, knowing that they utilise a genuinely collaborative approach to client engagement and are experts in helping big systems take a strategic approach to their own ongoing development. Johnston & Goldsmith understand the unique challenges facing faith-based organisations and have contributed significant technical knowledge and fresh ideas for implementing successful change at Sydney Catholic Schools.”

With a history of nearly 200 years, Sydney Catholic Schools has responsibility for the leadership, efficient operation and management of 150 primary and secondary schools in the Archdiocese of Sydney. These schools educate over 70,000 students and employ more than 9,000 staff members.
